UPENN JUST FIRED THE BOSS: PROBLEM: HE IS SAME AS THE OLD BOSS
Skin Color, not Merit runs their medical school; think thrice before scheduling surgery!
Today I am channeling the piano man, Billie Joel, for inspiration. The old Big Boss, Liz Magill, was forced to step down as President of this so-called Palace of Ideas, The University of Pennsylvania. The new boss, a Larry Jameson, formerly Dean of the Perelman School of Medicine, shows every sign of being a WOKE apologist. It seems that we are lucky that he is only the interim President.
He is an acolyte of DEI, the acronym of Diversity Equity and Inclusion. So let us take each initial of this new monster and chop it down to size. Before we commence, if you have any surgery scheduled at the UPENN hospital system, cancel now please. I’m a bit silly about this, but if a doctor comes at me with a scalpel, I want to be damn sure he did not get this tool because of his skin color or sexual orientation. Really.
Diversity. This pertains only to skin color. It supposedly allows those steeped in Victimhood, typically people of color who believe in systemic racism. Never mind that we elected a Black president, Barack Obama, or that the majority of church- going black families would never approve of antisemitism or violence. Warning: No diversity of thought will be tolerated and will in fact be vigorously punished.
E is for something called equity. This does not pertain to equality, which most of us can get behind. No, in this instance it means getting all the goodies of life not because of anything you accomplished; you get the goodies because you are Black. Accomplished individuals like Dr Ben Carson or economist Dr Thomas Sowell, need not apply. As President Biden says of their ilk, “You’re not a real Black.”
Today, the Democratic Party celebrates anti-semitism and is committed to stoking anti-white racism by any means necessary, including violence. Racism against white people is still Racism, folks.
The New Socialist Democratic Party is very far from what it was in my childhood. Then, it was the party of the working man; now it is only for the elite upper classes. Oprah Winfrey and LeBron James are prime examples of America-hating elites.
We the peasants of the Caucasian Persuasion are being sidelined, as of course our mothers are all guilty of choosing a white sperm to impregnate their white eggs.
I am an old peasant. When my mother met my father after D-Day, she only knew white, ethnically Swiss people who were Lutherans. Because she was not allowed to date Catholics, she did not. She knew so very few anyway.
If you don’t know any Catholics, chances are you don’t know any Black people. Or, Black men.
Although Americans via the Democratic Party elected a Black President, and produced many Black multi-millionaires and billionaires, it only knows three words: Race; Racist; and of course Racism. Full disclosure here: I am white. I went Black, but I came back. So there!
I is for inclusion. According to the Left, inclusion means letting marginalized groups have access to the same programs and resources as others. In other words, include everyone except white people, who were never marginalized.
Newsflash—During The Great Depression, a large swath of our people, white, black, brown and yellow, nearly starved to death. My mother, a first generation American, had exactly two hand-me- down dresses and one pair of shoes. The shoes were hand me- downs too, and were equipped with strong cardboard, where the leather soles had been. Her family of 12 had only two people earning wages. My aunt Ruth made $8 a week and my uncle Bob made $11. Grandfather had been laid off from his job at the brewery.
They were living on a narrow margin. So, they were marginalized. In those days, Welfare and food stamps did not exist for any race. Our nation was far more agrarian then, so seeing food growing in backyards was not the same as seeing a unicorn.
Though my husband’s father would say of the Depression, “It wasn’t too bad. I always had a nickel in my pocket.” that breed of citizen does not exist anymore. Hard work was their mantra; Hope was their shield. Later on, they would be called The Greatest Generation.
They made their own wine and beer. They kept chickens and a goat, and grew all their vegetables. They also canned all the fruit from their trees and their vegetable garden. They defeated the Nazi’s and Tokyo at the very same time. Ok, so Japan took a bit longer, but remember, they started later too. December 7, 1941, “…a day that will live in infamy,” touted FDR. ( He was smiling inside, calculating Rosie the Riveter’s rescue of the economy. Or, he sighed in relief that his economic failures would stay hidden.)
The Greatest Generation were self-sufficient and proud. Perhaps we should try to go back to that model? Or, are we just too damned spoiled by easy living? Yes we are. But some of us have some new tricks up our collective sleeve.
Many people are joining food cooperatives in their cites. Or, if they have a patch of land, gardens are going in. Because, no matter how the politicians try to spin it, with current levels of debt, a 1929 style depression is not out of the realm of possibility. In fact, it is inevitable. Witness the broken supply chain. Soon, the you-know-what will hit the rotary blades due to a severe food shortages. Buy seeds and ammunition my Fellow Americans, because I do believe we have had enough.
We are being taxed to the hilt by Bidenflation. Black and white stomachs are equally in need of food. So while you are being distracted by Race, Racist and Racism, the elites are ripping you off with their globalist fantasies.
Did you ever wonder what Klaus Schwab, of the World Economic Forum really dreams of? I cannot claim to look inside Dr. Evil’s dirty mind, but I’m guessing it involves We the Peasants tilling his endless rows of grain.
Better yet: Though not all of us are dead from the vaccine like they planned, a few of us could be saved to work in salt mines. I can’t believe that salt will ever be abolished.
Think of any large agriculture, chemical or mining concern and I predict a new job opening for one of us. Because there is Just US. Against THEM.
I’m voting for US.
I so miss those mean tweets and low prices!!! And Peace in the Middle East. Oh, forgot, putting China in its place! Taiwan. Embassy in Jerusalem. Damn, ran out of paper!
